The SDSU College of Engineering has been a staple of San Diego’s tech and innovation scene since 1961. They provide high-level engineering education and research for a massive community of students, faculty, and alumni. As their Graphic Design Intern, I was responsible for modernizing their visual materials—taking technical information and turning it into clean, professional designs for both print and digital platforms.

ROLE
Graphic Design Intern

GOAL
My main focus was to make the college’s information easier to navigate and more engaging. I worked on a mix of projects, from redesigning brochures and social media assets to creating engineering-themed motion graphics for holiday outreach. I also took on a wayfinding project to map out the engineering building, with the goal of improving the student experience through better design. Everything I created was built to stay consistent with the university’s brand while reflecting the innovative nature of the department.
